But of course, we are all hungry to learn more especially now as we transition into the so-called “new normal” of the world because of the pandemic.

For our first topic, let’s dive in to the subject which affected us all: the coronavirus pandemic. Remember when we were all positive and giddy to welcome 2020 as the year where will all achieve our personal and business goals? Well, guess what? It’s halfway through the year yet we are all stuck in our own homes, trying our very best to wash our hands ever so often, and striving to keep ourselves and our businesses alive.

As you may already know, traditional retail establishments are currently not allowed to operate due to social distancing measures and because only essential services are allowed. But do you know what’s thriving right now? Online businesses! They are booming! Business owners are now venturing into online selling platforms because they are easy to use and attracts a lot of customers. You don’t need to have a physical store, just by that reason alone you are already defying social distancing rules! This is a great way to start our very own business because you only need a little bit of capital for setting up your store, running ad campaigns, and voila! Customers will be on your way in no time.

Ironic, right? We are in the middle of a global pandemic, yet people still has time and money to spend. But that’s no surprise, people are trapped in their homes with nothing to do but binge-watch their favorite Netflix shows, lounge around all day, and yes, stick their noses into their phones. This is the very reason why consumerism isn’t dying even in the midst of a global pandemic. You can place purchases in just a few swipes and clicks. Everything is now automated and you can easily buy your necessities in just a snap.

You know Amazon and eBay right? Of course. Chances are you’ve already bought a household item there, or you can be a seller on said platforms. On Shopify or example, niche products such as pet accessories and reusable utensils are being sold which targets their respective niche markets.
